I am a Shemsu of the Kemetic Orthodox faith, daughter of Khepera, beloved of Djehuty and Serqet-Aset. I was raised a devout Lutheran, and while I recognize the flaws in Christianity, I’m still proud to come from a church that believed strongly in community and family. My mom is still Christian, but she supports my religious decisions wholeheartedly, which I am grateful for.
I am a 26 year old mother to a daughter of 6 and a 14 year old Pomeranian named Connor, whom I affectionately call Connor Bonner. I love the stars and the moon, the color purple, the rising and setting of the sun, and cats, despite the fact that they make me sneeze. My lists of favorites would be endless because I can never choose just one thing, but if I were to recommend one book that everyone should read it would be The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson.
I graduated from the University of South Florida three years ago with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Psychology and I have plans to one day work with families that have experienced domestic abuse. In the meantime I currently live at home with my parents, taking care of my mom who recently had surgery and nearly died. I am also the caretaker of my 2 year old niece.
I believe in love and life, and wish to have both and keep them, though I have a tendency to destroy anything that comes close to resembling either. I’m hoping that my renewed faith will help me believe in myself as well so that I can feel comfortable allowing myself to have the things I want.
And as one final note – while the content on these pages is written solely by me, the design and customization is and has been performed largely by my best friend and spiritual brother, Cory. I love you, sir!
